So I finished The Postcard Killers by James Patterson and I liked it. It was about a series of cut-throat killings all across Europe and (almost) everyone is baffled as to who would do this to random people. The book was interesting and written differently (it seems) from other JP novels. There aren't a lot of twists but it still kept my attention till the end of the book. The only thing I would caution you people would be that there is more mature content in this book than usual so be careful as to who you lend this book to.
Hey everyone, I'm baaack! I'm sorry I haven't blogged for a while but I haven't been able to read a book in a long time. However I did read and finish The Look by Sophia Bennett and I thought it was....okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't stellar either. It's about two sisters where one of them gets a modeling contract and the other gets cancer. While one gets worse, the other's career gets to supermodel standards. It is a nice book but there are no twists or action so its pretty predictable and, at times, boring. I also read the Sea of Monsters graphic novel which was nice. I did notice that the characters' looks changed between the first and second graphic novel but it was still nice. See ya soon!

Hi everyone! (sorry this isnt a book review more like book news) So my dear friends on tumblr have informed me that City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare will actually come later than expected on May 6, 2014. This only means that the book is longer and better (cant wait). Talk to you guys again in a bit!
So at Comic Con yesterday, the new Catching Fire trailer was released. I already put the trailer up on Recent Trailers for Books however it seems you guys don't look at that page so I decided to put the trailer on a post as well. Below is the new Catching Fire trailer. Enjoy!
Perception is the sequel to Clarity by Kim Harrington and, unfortunately, it kind of let me down. The first book was pretty good; it had a lot of action, some romance, some murder and people who have powers. All in all, Clarity was amazing. Perception covered the same bases but it felt as if the book was slow paced with several unnecessarily long parts to it. There was the same quantity of pages and words as the first book but it lacked quality and that caused the book to be a let down for me. Read Clarity, then read Perception and then finally tell me what you think.

This is one of my favorite books EVER and my fav in the Hunger Games trilogy. I just finished rereading for like the fourth time and I love the book so much!!!! The plot is beautiful and it has to be one of the best written books I have ever read. It has a lot of action too which is awesome. I can't go into more detail or else I'll spoil it for those who've read it. You have to read it, especially before the movie comes out, and the rest of the trilogy.
This is an extraordinary book about three sisters who find out they have powers and now have to go through high school with these powers. I personally love this book even though it is the type of book you can read in one sitting. It is really nice because the sisters are in (regular) high school so the story isn't too out there. My favorite part is the epilogue however I am not going to spoil it for you. Read the book because you'll probably like it alot.
So I have recently finished two books, Cordially UnInvited by Jennifer Roy and Power by Kristie Cook. CUI was a good, easy read that's perfect for long car rides and flights. The book kinda has a story similar to the Kate and William story (non princess gets engaged/married to prince) however there is someone out to break them up. It isnt that hard to figure out who it is however it is well written and a good book. Power is the fourth book in the Soul Savers series and I absolutely loved it! I guess it helped that, after trying to get it for months, I finally got it (Tuebl). There is a HUGE twist in the book that, those of you who read the 1st, 2nd and 3rd books, wont believe could actually happen. It is GREAT and you definitely should read it!
Rate CUI: 8.5/10
Rate Power: 150/10
