Everyone run for cover, JK Rowling has announced she is co-doing a play on Harry Potter's life before he went to Hogwarts and saved the world 3 thousand times. ARHHHHHH!!!!! We get TWO new HP stuff in the span of 6 months all before Sherlock season 3 comes out hahahahahahaha I find this hilarious. Anywaysies, WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! The HP fandom is BACK, BABY!!!!! WHOOOOO! Butterbeer (nonalcoholic of course) FOR ALL!!! WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
'ello everyone! So I know I haven't blogged in a while but I keep forgetting to blog when I'm not busy and then of course I remember to blog as soon as I get busy. Anywaysies, so I finished Now I'll Tell You Everything, the last Alice Mckinley book by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, and DRAMA! Everyone's a Critic by Paul Ruditis and I loved both, but NITYE more than DRAMA. So with this Drama book, (yes, DRAMA is a four book series, and this is the second book) I actually own it and the first book and read both of them before so I decided to just skip the first and go to the second book. This book is about a bunch of theatre kids vying to get into a prestigious program run by the famousest (yes, it's a word, look it up) director ever. Now I'm not doing much to help this book unfortunately but I really liked the writing; it was from the perspective of a going-to-12th-grade teen and the writing reflected that teenish way os speaking and thinking therefore making the story more believable. There was a teensy bit of romance (a huge breakup really doesn't count as romance does it?), a lot of puns and funny jokes and no action but lots of fun. Now with NITYE, this book was FANTASTIC, GORGEOUS, AMAZING the most PERFECTEST ending to any story alive or dead; this book recounted the end of the Alice Mckinley series from when Alice begins college till she's 60 and it was perfecto. Honestly the most believable, romantic, heart wrenching story EVER! The writing was BRILLS too btw! At the end, when I closed the book, I kid you not I SOBBED for 30-45 mins straight....believe me I never cry and was SOOOOOOO SAD at the end and I am not lying about the mins....I stared at the clock for a really long time crying. Just a perfect ending to a perfect series.
Rate DRAMA: 8/10
Rate NITYE: 14 billion/10
Bonjour peoples of the universe! So I got The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes from my library not expecting much of it, but as I read it was clear the book was reallllly good. I started it on Friday and finished it on Friday. I was mesmerized and read the book at every opportunity I got. Anyway I loved the book and it was one of those very few books that I have ever been sadder and sadder to get to the end; it was just soo good. The plot of having kids with "special" abilities helping the FBI on cases, and the fact that there is a murderer on the loose. Also there is a love triangle in it that is probably the only thing that kinda bothers me but i still like the book especially the fact that people could have cool abilities. I really liked it and the writing of two perspectives was awesome.
Bonjour tout le monde (hey everyone)! So I am in love all things Paris/France so I decided that this time I would do the opening in French (just as a BTW). Anyway back to the actual stuff; so I went to watch Thor: The Dark World with ma famille and we all loved it!!! There were so many twist and turns and it was just so GORGEOUSLY AWESOMELY SASSY and FUN!!! Loki had honestly sooooo much sass, there's nothing you can use to measure it.....and the suspense is killing me about what happened at the end with Odin and then the metro scene hahahahaha sorry. I forgot to mention that this post is probably going to be half review post and half fangirling. Anyway the special effects were AWESOME, it looked so real (why cant it be real *sad face* ) My favorite parts were the scenes where Loki was in it because he twisted the story so many times within a span of five minutes. I think thats it....I could fangirl for longer but that consists of mostly disbelief, spoilers and some screaming. Tata for now!
