Hey peoples of the world! So I have had a really hectic and busy week so I didn't get much reading done however I did get the new Titan's Curse graphic novel and the new Clockwork Prince graphic novel which I started yesterday and finished today. First let's start CP; it was good, it was exactly like the book and followed it nicely. The pictures/pages (except the first couple of pages) are grayscale, but they still look vivid and real and most of the characters look as I thought they would. The only character who looked a little different than what I imagined was Cecily. Everything else was perfect.
Now, for Titan's Curse I was slightly disappointed as they missed a couple of somewhat important and funny scenes that were in the regular book. As well, from the beginning you can't easily distinguish who Thalia is or that she's even in the book as she looks and dresses in the book almost exactly like Percy which threw me off from the start. All of the pictures were colored, which should have helped but didn't when it came to distinguish Thalia from Percy. Another thing I want to add is that, personally, I thought Nico would look a little older than as they drew him in the graphic novel; he looked seven! Other than that, everything was good.

Hello world! So I am sorry for not blogging for a while, but I have been insanely busy (still am actually) however I wanted to do a post about the books I've read so far as well as make an announcement that you guys will LOVE! First the announcement; I wanted to do something fun and that is for all my book fans to send in your artwork/ cosplays of any thing related to books to the facebook page or on here and you could be featured on the fb page and the winner of the week will be spotlighted on the blog. One winner for the artwork and one winner for cosplay. May the games begin and may the odd be ever in your favor! Now onto the books part, so this past week I have finished Endless by Jessica Shirvington, The Fall of the Hotel Dumort by Cassandra Clare and Son of Sobek by Rick Riordan. Now my favorite of these has to absolutely be Endless because there was something for everyone, it was filled with ALOT of good action, alot of surprises, some romance and an ending that I didnt see coming. It was so good that I had that thing where you can't really think about much else book wise but I still read The Fall of the Hotel Dumort anyway which may have been a bad idea since it may have made me kind of not like TFHD a little. It was a bit boring because there wasn't much to the book however there is a kinda sorta interesting story line which explains a little bit about vampire behaviour. Anyway onto the next book, Son of Sobek. Okay, I finished that right after I read House of Hades but I just forgot to blog about it, but you didnt miss much. Although I liked the fact that Percy Jackson met Carter Kane, I left wishing there had been more of a plot/storyline and wanting there to be more books that had Carter and Percy together. I did like the ending but no spoilers so you'll have to read it for yourself.

So I finished the House of Hades by Rick Riordan and I loved it soooo much. I actually got it on the eighth for free from Tuebl (I love you tuebl) and began reading it. I was really excited for the book and read it every chance I got. At first I only slightly liked it, but then I began warming up to it and a bit longer and I was LOVING it. I read everywhere and anywhere; no one could take it away from me. There was a lot of great parts, few parts that were boring, one part were I didnt like what Riordan did (it has to do with Nico) and one part I absolutely loved with all of my heart (it has to do with Leo). I liked most of the surprises, but the main thing that (at first) bothered me was that the story wasn't done. It sounds silly, but I thought, in the beginning, that this book was going to be the end of the series. However, now, I find it bittersweet; there is another book where I can read more about the characters but I have to wait another year for it which will absolutely kill me. Also I think Riordan didnt make this book the end because I think he wants to make the HOO series 5 books like the Percy Jackson series which is a bit cool. Anyway I loved the book ALOT and want ALL of you to read it.
So a couple of days ago I watched the Sea of Monsters movie and also finished the rest of the Percy Jackson series. The books were very good as usual (I love rereading the Percy Jackson books) with the writing being very well detailed and the books being awesome. My favorite definitely has to be The Last Olympian (the last book in the series) or The Titan's Curse (the third book). The Percy Jackson series is a must-read for any age. Now it's time for the movie. I'll start by saying there are major spoilers below which is why, if you don't want the movie to be spoiled, you should not read past the "Read more" line.
Hey everyone! So I recently read and finished Sea of Monsters for the third time because I decided to reread the book before I watched the movie. I really like it especially the end (no spoilers) but it is an unexpected and sweet surprise. This book is Percy's second "adventure"....he goes to find someone/something and finds something shocking about his family. Those who haven't read the book should before they watch the movie bc I am sure there are going to some changes and also should bc the book is a very good and quick read.
So I went to the library and got some books (hallelujah) and one of the books I picked up was The Last Olympian. Flash from the past! Anyway I started it today and I am almost done and I am loving the book. It is my fourth time reading it and I can't get enough of it. I love Rick Riordan!!! He is like one of the top five on my list of all time favorite authors. (number one goes to HP legend, JK Rowling).
Rate (the book): 25/10
I love this author! He makes AMAZING books! There is the Percy Jackson series, The Kane Chronicles, 39 Clues and the best of them all, The Heroes of Olympus. I had the very good fortune to be one of the first ones in line for The Mark of Athena (the newest book in the H.O.O series),with my sister (also a Riordan fan) for backup, out of the 300 some holds. So I just got it Friday, and I'm reading it whenever I can. Now for all you crazy people who haven't read Riordan's books, they are AMAZING! Ya gotta read them, now!
I rate all the Riordan books: 25/10
